About La Vissuta
La Vissuta on High Street, Tuam, Co. Galway is A Taste of the Med in Tuam. The Chef/Proprietor is Pedro Ledesma who has decades of experience in the Galway hospitality industry.
This warm, welcoming restaurant is licensed, so you can enjoy cocktails, beer and wine as well as
some fabulous alcohol-free wines for the designated drivers/sober curious.
La Vissuta is the winner of the Yes Chef Best Italian Restaurant in Connaught award 2023 and a
member of Blas na Gallimhe. It is also listed in the Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide.
The menu consists of a wide range of pasta and pizza dishes plus chicken, fish, vegetarian and steak options. Recent additions include a sharing board and paella.
Gerry Mullins Butchers on Shop Street is where the sirloin steak comes from and Glancy’s Fish provide the Catch of the Day.
As always, rest assured of a warm welcome from the main man, Pedro and an atmosphere you can’t manufacture.
